On the afternoon of December 24, 2018, the Institute of International and Area Studies (IIAS) of Tsinghua University held a New Year’s networking event for students at Office 205 of the Central Main Building, which is the first major event held by all students since the opening of the new office.
清华大学国际与地区研究院第二届理事会会议顺利召开
2019年1月9号下午，国际与地区研究院第二届理事会会议在主楼205办公室顺利召开，顾秉林理事长主持会议，王希勤常务副校长、白重恩教授、薛澜教授、刘东教授作为理事会成员参加。张静、张传杰两位副院长做了述职报告，会议还讨论并通过了研究院2018年度决算、2019年度预算及2019年度工作计划等。 张静副院长在述职报告中总结了研究院2018年人事及科研工作的相关进展。2018年，研究院人事制度方案落地，研究人员及行政队伍的引进招聘工作也稳步推进，各项学术交流活动顺利展开，新办公室也完成装修并投入使用。张传杰副院长则向各位理事报告了教学和财务方面的相关工作情况。2018年，发展中国家研究博士项目顺利完成了2018级新生入学及2019级新生招生工作，研究院教学委员会也完成换届工作。 各位理事一致认为，2019年是研究院从初创走向稳步发展的关键过度之年。在这一年，研究院必须继续完善各项规章制度建设，健全领导机制，立足学生培养和学术研究，加强同国内外地区研究学术机构的合作，在开设课程和组织学术活动方面取得突破，早日实现研究院正常稳定发展。
The Institute of International and Area Studies (IIAS) of Tsinghua University held a New Year’s Networking Event for Students
On the afternoon of December 24, 2018, the Institute of International and Area Studies (IIAS) of Tsinghua University held a New Year’s networking event for students at Office 205 of the Central Main Building, which is the first major event held by all students since the opening of the new office. The networking event also invited the presence of Gu Binglin, Academician and Chairman of IIAS Council. Prof. Zhong Weimin, Executive Deputy Chief Editor of the Journal of Tsinghua University, was also invited to share his academic experience. Prof. Liu Dong, Prof. Jing Jun, Prof. Wang Yong, Zhen Shuning and Zhao Jinsong also participated in the event.
