Professor Lucas Llach is currently teaching in the Department of History and Social Studies of the University of Ditera, Argentina, and is a doctor of history at Harvard University. He graduated from the Department of Economics of the University of Ditera, Argentina, and his master’s degree from the Department of History of Harvard University and the Department of Economics of the University of Ditera. From 2016 to 2018, he served as the Vice President of the Central Bank of Argentina, and in 2019, he served as the Vice President of the National Bank of Argentina. He was responsible for the formulation and implementation of policies on financial digitalization and informatization throughout Argentina. His main research fields include economic history, modern and contemporary history of Latin America, and medieval history. He is the author of many books, such as Como Sapiens: corer, cometer, amar y descansar a la manera de los humanos (Debate, 2020), Macroeconom í a argentina (Alfaomeaga, 2006), Entre la equidad y el crecimiento (Siglo XXI, 2004), El ciclo de la ilusi ó n y el descentanto (Ariel, 1998), and so on.
