Li Jiao is a Professor at the School of Marxism at Tsinghua University. She also serves as Deputy Director of the Center for Curriculum-based Ideological and Political Education Research and Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office. In addition, she is Assistant Director of the Center for Chinese Political Thought at Tsinghua University.

Her research focuses on the history of Chinese political thought and political philosophy.

Li Jiao has a diverse academic background. She received her B.A. in Economics from Beijing Normal University, an M.A. in Literature from Oxford Brookes University, and a Ph.D. in Law from Tsinghua University. She has also been a visiting scholar at Columbia University.
