Meng Tianguang is a Professor at the School of Social Sciences at Tsinghua University and has made significant contributions to the field of computational social science.

A project he co-led with his team—“Exploration and Practice of Building a Computational Social Science Program through Interdisciplinary Integration of the Humanities and Sciences”—received the First Prize of the 2025 Tsinghua University Teaching Achievement Award. The project has advanced innovations in talent training systems and teaching models for computational social science and also led to the establishment of the China Computational Social Science Alliance.

In addition, he participated in a professional degree education reform project at the School of Social Sciences, which received the Second Prize of the 2025 Teaching Achievement Award. This initiative focuses on developing a high-level, practice-oriented graduate training system through closer integration between academia and industry.
