On the afternoon of April 18, 2026, a delegation from Universitas Indonesia, led by Vice Rector Hamdi Muluk and including Dyah Triarini Indirasari, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, visited the Institute for International and Area Studies (IIAS) at Tsinghua University and held a discussion session with faculty members and students.

Participants from IIAS included Li Yuqing, Deputy Director of the Center for South and Southeast Asian Studies, as well as doctoral student representatives Zeng Jiahui and Yin Yiguo.

During the meeting, both sides first introduced their respective institutions. They then exchanged views on potential areas of cooperation, including mutual visits by doctoral students and faculty, academic journal publication, and other collaborative initiatives, and explored practical pathways for further strengthening international academic exchange.

The visit enhanced mutual understanding between IIAS and Universitas Indonesia and laid a solid foundation for future cooperation.
