On the afternoon of October 22, 2023, the Center for West Asia and North Africa Studies of the Institute for International and Area Studies (IIAS) at Tsinghua University, in collaboration with Rixin College’s Undergraduate CPC Branch, hosted a seminar on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The event took place in classroom B208 of the Humanities Building at Tsinghua University and was attended by over 60 teachers and students from the two institutions.

During the meeting, Mr. Guo Mengke, the party development mentor at Rixin College, and Mr. Ding Chenxi, an assistant researcher at IIAS, provided brief introductions to the two institutes. Following this, Yang Guang and Wang Xuechen, PhD candidates in the Developing Countries Studies program at IIAS, delivered insightful presentations on the situation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The seminar concluded with a lively discussion, during which Research Assistants Ding Chenxi and Ma Yue, along with PhD candidates Yang Guang and Wang Xuechen, provided in-depth and detailed responses to a series of questions posed by Rixin College students.
