The lecture was delivered by Dr. Katarzyna Kaczmarska, Lecturer at the School of Social and Political Science, the University of Edinburgh. Yin Zhiguang, Professor at the School of International Relations & Public Affairs, Fudan University and Dr. Catherine Owen, Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences, the University of Exeter’s Penryn Campus, were the disscussants.

Jointly founded by the IIAS and the Institute of East Asian Studies of Thammasat University, the Bangkok Field Station will provide Tsinghua University and its partner institutions a platform for field studies, promote academic exchanges and cooperation across countries, and explore the development direction and path for area studies.
