On the evening of October 8, 2019, the second session of the Park Economy and Economic Development Lecture Series titled the “Development of China’s Park Economy” was held at Conference Room 205 of the Central Main Building of Tsinghua University. On the morning of September 23, 2019, the first session of the Lecture Series on Park Economy and Economic Development titled “Park Economy in the Eyes of the World Bank” was held at the Institute of International and Area Studies (IIAS) of Tsinghua University. The lecture was delivered by Mr. Zeng Zhihua, Senior Expert of the World Bank and presided over by Prof. Wang Yong, Associate Professor of the Institute of Economics, School of Social Sciences of Tsinghua University.

On September 20, 2019, the Institute of International and Area Studies (IIAS) of Tsinghua University successfully held a lecture on “Rethinking Area Studies in a Global Framework – Taking Asia Studies as an Example” presented by Professor Tansen Sen of New York University Shanghai and commented by Professor Arunabh Ghosh from Harvard University. Associate Professor Cao Yin from Tsinghua University presided over the event.
